Parts Controls

An essential part of our quality system is verification of components sent to us by suppliers. Components that fail to meet our standards at any point in testing are rejected and do not enter in production.

Dimensional controls

Components received from suppliers are measured extensively for conformance to our design. We check dimensions of the components from every angle, including the thickness of materials and thickness of surface treatments such as chrome and paint.

Welding controls

The quality of the welds is verified to meet the specified quality and dimensions in our design.

Material controls

We perform a double check, checking both the documentation that accompanies the material, and testing the material itself for hardness and surface finish.

Final quality control

After assembly, the finished crane undergoes a final quality control testing to ensure the complete product meets standards.

Traceability

Many components of the crane are uniquely numbered. This information is recorded by the production department against the crane’s serial number.

Parts traceability

Each structural component is permanently marked with its part number, supplier number, and supplier batch number. This enables us to monitor suppliers, track problems, and contact customers who may be affected by them.

Pipe traceability

We also require our suppliers to engrave tracking numbers in hydraulic pipes and hoses. This gives us tracking of almost every crane component.
